I purchased these recently for my i7 build and I wanted to keep the cost's reasonable. These were some of the cheapest 6GB 1600mhz kits I had seen available. Patriot has a good reputation and also offer a lifetime warranty so it wasn't a hard decision for me.
I got the sticks and popped them in my Asus P6T and it booted right up. Set the XMP profile and off I went with my RAM goodness. No issues trying to get them to run at the advertised speeds. Just worked... which is something that does not happen often in the tech world.
Basically, good RAM for the price, works as advertised and Amazon shipped them out quickly.

The product I received is extremely stable. No memory issues or post issues. And in fact, this memory is listed on the Mobo's vendor listing in the manual for the P6T Deluxe V2 board. I'm glad I bought this product.

I wanted a cheap memory for my I7 for my new bulid and the patriot was the best i could find.
Packaging was nice, secure and easy to open.
The Memory it self looks fantastic and very easy to install.
I have not tried it for overclocking but i guess it will do fine
